Overview

	Les Eaux Tranquilles is located on the banks of the river Aude just 4km south of Quillan. Les Eaux Tranquilles is very close to the Tour de France route used every other year and is ideally located for visiting the Cathar Castles. The front of the property looks out to the Pyrenees mountains.
	It sits in it's own private park of 2 acres with private parking, a garage is available for cyclists and motor cyclists. There is a water sports center just 50m away that offers rafting and other water activities.
	Located half way between Carcassonne and Perpignan (50 minutes in either direction) both of which have International Airports and car hire facilities makes us perfectly located for visiting everything our region has to offer like of course the Castles, markets, mountains, ski resorts, beaches, gorges (our nearest is five minutes walk) etc. It is also an ideal are for walking and cycling.

Location & Transportation

We are located out of town on the river Aude some 360M up in the high valley of the Aude. In the summer breakfast and evening meals on the terrace with the mountains overlooking you makes eating out a pleasure.
Directions	We are located just off the D117 4km south of Quillan. There are plenty of signposts to help you find us and full directions will be given when you make a reservation.
Transportation	Public transport is very limited, a car is an absolute must as without one much of the tourist attractions are not reachable.
Airport	Carcassonne or Perpignan, 50 minutes drive.

	All our rooms have en-suite private bathrooms. Two rooms have showers and baths, the other two just a shower.
	We have three rooms that overlook the river and mountains and another that overlooks the foothills of the Pyrenees
	Three rooms are on the ground level with only one smal step allowing easy access for partly disabled guests. One room has a shower with integrel seat.
